A great savory hot appetizer. Something different to bring to a pot luck. My husband's favorite.
Ingredients: 1 package puff pastry dough (sheets) 1-1/2 packages cream cheese 1/2 cup pesto 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese 3 thinly chopped green onions 1 cup chopped black olives (optional) Mix pesto and softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add onion and Parmesan to mixture. Spread mixture onto thawed pastry sheets and sprinkle olives on top. Roll length ways. Refrigerate for an hour for easier cutting. Cut into 1/4 inch slices and place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until brown. Serve hot or room temperature. Do not underbake. Can be assembled ahead of time or frozen. If frozen, thaw partially before cutting.
